Samaritan's Purse is an evangelical Christian humanitarian aid organization that provides aid to people in physical need as a key part of Christian missionary work.
Samaritan Purse volunteers stopped by at our Mission Border Hope Resource Center to see what we needed. They brought back pampers as well as other things that are greatly appreciated and needed at the resource center. Thank you for your donations and we hope to work with all the volunteers soon.
In Eagle Pass, Texas, Mission Border Hope is working as a Humanitarian Coalition operated and managed fully christian based personal and volunteers. We assist and provide resources to asylum seekers who have been processed and released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Many migrants stay only 1-3 hours at this location as they move north to San Antonio and points beyond, awaiting their day in court. Mission Border Hope is helping to provide meals, phones, and traveling information to asylum seekers passing by. Facilities are only temporary accommodations. We thank everyone that has assisted Mission Border Hope with donations, funds and prayers. Most important, we will be doing what we believe Jesus Christ would do at the center.
